Shockingly a man was arrested by police at Westminster Hall for running towards the Queen's coffin

- A man was arrested by police after a witness said he "ran towards the queen's coffin" at Westminster Hall.

Witness Tracey Holland told Sky News: "Some people have decided that they are going to push [my niece of seven years], run into the coffin, raise the bar and try to do what I don't know.

"He was arrested and the police caught him in two seconds."

He added: "Terrible, absolutely horrific, so gross and unbelievable - and this poor child of seven years is a lasting memory of the Queen."

The Metropolitan Police said: "Friday, 4pm Friday, September 16, on Friday, September 16, police from the parliamentary and diplomatic protection command arrested a man from Westminster Hall following disturbance.

"He was arrested for a statutory offense of public order and is currently in custody."

A parliamentary spokesman said: "We are aware of an incident at Westminster Hall, where a member of the community stepped out of the queue and headed for Catafalque (a raised platform).

"They have now been removed from the room and the queue is starting with minimum disturbance."

This comes after a 19-year-old man exposed himself and pushed mourners from behind as they waited online at Victoria Tower Gardens on Wednesday.

Adio Adeshine was arrested Friday after appearing before Westminster Court of the first instance for two sexual assaults and two counts of sexual harm prevention offenses.
