Although difficult to define, Coca-Cola has launched a new flavor to the world

NAVADENEWS - Finally Though hard to define, Coca-Cola has launched a new flavor to the world. Byte catches up Starlight second drink from Coca-Cola Creations, the new ministry of innovation

Months later, Coca-Cola announced a new limited edition drink: the Coca-Cola Starlight, the red type of space-inspired carbonated drink. Now the industry has stepped up its portfolio with another unusual offering: Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte, a new flavor that should taste like pixel, writes CNN Business.

"Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte makes the intangible pixel feel real," said Oana Vlad, director of strategy at Coca-Cola for CNN Business. As he explains, it's "the Coca-Cola flavor you know and love with its bright elements and refreshing finish".

Byte is after the mentioned Starlight, the second drink from Coca-Cola Creations, the bar just ended. It was, a few years ago, that the industry decided to discontinue half of its portfolio, ditching some of its obsolete but favorite drinks, including the Tab. Since then, the carbonated beverage giant has focused on promoting its core product, Coca-Cola, which of course includes producing creative flavors and launching compelling marketing campaigns. Create also means letting the customer be part of the mystery of what the new product really tastes like. For Vlad, the market response to the novelty- Starlight, was great.

“There is a lot of dialogue and speculation about his mysterious cosmic taste, and our fans are intrigued. It is this abstract description of taste that provides opportunities for discussion," said Vlad.

Byte, the latest Coca-Cola product to be marketed in the US, is already in touch with gamers. That is, Byte is my price online rather than in real life as the product appeared globally in late March on the island in the video game Fortnite. The island, called Pixel Point, was created by Coca-Cola I'm PWR partner, which creates a virtual experience within Fortnite. Beverage brands have been indirectly advertised for a long time, but with the increasing number of industries participating and the competition continues to be fierce.

“We believe it means to appear in the spaces where players play,” said Vlad, adding that Coca-Cola has long supported the gaming community and that the industry has partnered with Riot Games, a video game developer.

US shoppers will be able to purchase Byte online from May 2 until supplies last, and will be available for sale in several Latin American countries and China.
